Carmel Vanderham is a registered nurse and has worked in Queensland, South Australia and NSW in both private and public hospitals. She commenced nursing in 1989 and immediately chose a post-surgical pathway. Carmel then moved to the specialty of cardiac nursing.
For the last 17 years, Carmel has worked in a cardio-thoracic intensive care unit. She holds a Bachelor of Nursing and Graduate Diploma of Critical Care Nursing from Griffith University.
Carmel believes that providing an informed and well-prepared peri-operative experience facilitates the best possible outcome for the patient.
